Working in construction or shipbuilding in Finland – instructions for workers

When you arrive in Finland to do construction or installation work or to work at a shipyard, you must get registered at a tax office and get a tax number as soon as possible. If you do not have a tax number, you cannot work on the construction site. You must have an identification card with your name, picture and tax number. You can see your tax number on your tax card or in MyTax.
