Tax card for wages
- Go to MyTax (opens in a new window)
- On the MyTax home page, go to Tax card and prepayments 2026
- Under Tax cards and prepayments 2026 you can find your current tax rate and income ceiling
- If you want to save or print out the tax card, click Tax cards and prepayments. Scroll down to Tax card for wages and salaries. Select Open tax card (pdf).
Note: If you have logged in to MyTax, your session is ongoing, and you are seeing “Requesting a tax card: selecting the request type – Select the complete or short version”, please move your mouse to the top left corner and click on Tax cards and prepayments. This will bring you to a MyTax page where you can scroll down to a 2026 tax card.
You need only one tax card for your wage income. You can use the same tax card in multiple places of work. The tax card has one income ceiling for all the wage income you earn during the year.
Tax card for pensions or benefits
- Go to MyTax (opens in a new window)
- When you are logged in to MyTax, go to the Communication tab on the home page. You can find the Communication tab next to the Tax matters tab in MyTax. Scroll the tabs right to left if you are on a smartphone or other mobile device.
- Under Decisions and letters, click Open decisions and letters.
- Click Tax card (pdf) to open your tax card.
You request a tax card on behalf of another individual
Suomi.fi authorisations enable one party to take care of another person’s, company’s or organisation’s tax matters by using e-services, calling telephone services or visiting customer service points. As a guardian, you do not need a separate Suomi.fi authorisation.
Instructions on how to proceed in MyTax
- Log in to your own MyTax to select what tax matters you wish to manage.
- Select Act on behalf of someone else.
- Go to e-Authorizations. Select the person whose tax matters you wish to manage.
