When do I receive my tax return?
Self-employed business operators and agricultural operators as well as their spouses received their pre-completed tax returns in MyTax at the end of February.
Other customers received their pre-completed tax returns in MyTax in random order between 12 March and 27 March 2026.
The tax return was also sent by post to customers who had not activated Suomi.fi Messages or electronic tax mail.

Mail delivery will change
When you log in to MyTax, you will automatically activate Suomi.fi Messages or electronic tax mail. Tax-related letters will arrive electronically in MyTax. This means a transition from paper: all tax decisions, information on tax refunds or back taxes, etc. will be sent to you in electronic format only. Read more about the changes.
