File a gift online

Log in to the new MyTax to file a gift tax return. You must file it if you have received a gift valued €4,000 or more.

Gift tax returns must be filed within three months of receiving the gift. Further information on gifts subject to gift tax.

How to file online

Use your personal e-bank identifiers to log in to MyTax. The e-Service will guide you in filing the return.

You can save the return as unfinished and come back later to continue. Editing your input is permitted until the Tax Administration starts processing the return. If necessary, we ask you to provide further details.

When the return is processed, the decision letter is displayed in MyTax. It is also sent to you by post. You can also pay the tax in MyTax.
