Register certificates for stakeholder testing are about to expire – remember to renew your certificate

3/28/2025

The technical certificates for using the APIs of the Positive credit register and for stakeholder testing are valid for two years. After this, they have to be renewed. The oldest certificates used by organisations were ordered for stakeholder testing in early 2023, so those certificates have already expired or are about to expire.

Organisations have different kinds of certificates for purposes such as stakeholder testing and submitting and utilising data. The certificates that are currently about to expire are stakeholder testing certificates. If an organisation does not renew its certificate in time and it expires, the organisation can no longer carry out tests in the stakeholder testing environment.

How are certificates renewed?

We will send the technical contact person for each certificate a reminder email message 60 days before the certificate expires. The message will be sent from no-reply@vero.fi. You can renew the certificate through the certificate service API if your certificate is still valid and if doing so is possible in your system.

If your certificate has expired or if renewing it is not possible in your system, you can order a new certificate for your organisation from the e-service of the certificate service.

Please make sure that the contact information of your organisation’s technical contact person for the certificate is up to date so that you will receive the reminder message about the expiry of your certificate.
