The stakeholder testing of the second stage begins on 3 March 2025

Lenders can report data to and request data from the Positive credit register only through APIs. Because of this, all operators that report data to the register must see that they have a functional API solution for reporting and using the register's data. They must also ensure that the APIs work as intended by participating in stakeholder testing before the rollout. Lenders can start testing on 3 March 2025.

Business loans to the register at the end of the year – testing important

The register will expand as of 1 December 2025 as lenders start reporting loans granted to private individuals other than consumers, such as business loans granted to private individuals. Through stakeholder testing, lenders can ensure that they are technically capable of reporting data to the register and requesting data from the register.

Who should participate in testing?

In order that the reporting of the loans introduced in the second stage would go well, lenders must test the use of APIs. The following stakeholders should participate in testing:

  • New operators, i.e. lenders that start reporting or requesting data in the second stage
  • Current operators that will also report loans included in the second stage to the register.
  • Current operators that request credit register extracts.
  • Authorities using the Positive credit register (as of 5 May 2025).

The credit register extract will contain data content that is new to all users. Make sure you are capable of receiving the new content by participating in stakeholder testing. Also make sure you can report data, even if your reporting does not change. In other words, we recommend that all our stakeholders should participate in testing.

Sign up for testing and start early

Lenders can sign up for testing by filling in the stakeholder testing start notification. After you have signed up, we will send you test IDs and other information needed to perform testing.

Start planning the testing and start testing as early as possible. You can start testing even if your API implementation is still incomplete. Also allow enough time for testing.
