Lender - you will be able to make changes to cancelled credit from 18 June 2025

12/18/2024

A change to the processing rules for the credit expiry interface of the Positive credit register will be introduced next spring. The change will make it possible to restore a credit that was previously declared cancelled, back to active status. This will be done by submitting a notification to the interface with the type 'error correction' for credit previously reported as cancelled. After the change, it will also be possible to edit a previously reported expiry date by correcting an error.

There will be no changes to the data content or mandatory rules for the end of credit or a cancellation notification.

Timetable for the change

The change to the interface processing rules will be released for stakeholder testing from 19 May 2025. The change can then be tested from 19 May until 18 June 2025. We will publish testing instructions once the change is available for testing in the stakeholder testing environment.

We will release the change in to the production environment on 18 June 2025. We will also update the instructions for Reporting data to the Positive credit register, so that it reflects the new functionality.
