New error code for payment transactions API – important to follow instructions

9/17/2026

We will release a new error code E04 at the Payment transaction API on 7 October 2026. The error code occurs in situations where the report sent by the lender to the register’s API cannot be processed because there are other reports related to the same loan being processed at the API at the same time.

Earlier, if reports related to the same loan were submitted at the same time, a record sent by the lender could remain in the ‘being processed’ state. From 7 October 2026, lenders will receive an error code E04 in the processing feedback if some of the reports related to the same loan sent at the same time cannot be processed. The new error code E04 has the following error message:

Could not save the report because another report concerning the same loan was being processed at the same time. Before submitting a new report, make sure that you have received a finished status code on previous reports for the same loan.

Lender – do not send more than one report related to the same loan at the same time

We have observed that some of the batches sent by lenders have remained stuck in the processing status in the register. Some of the reports contained in these batches have been processed normally, but the batch has also contained several reports related to the same loans or the lender has sent parallel records containing reports related to the same loans to the register at the same time. These may, therefore, have remained in the ‘being processed’ status.

According to our instructions, reports that concern the same loan and are interdependent must not be sent in the same batch. If transactions related to the same loan that must remain in a certain order are reported in different batches, the batch submitter must submit these batches in the correct order. The reporting works in the best possible way when you do not send any new reports related to the same loan until you have received finished status code on the processing of the previous batch.

Remember to ask for processing feedback on each batch

It is very important for the lender to ensure that the Positive credit register has received and stored the submitted data by always requesting for the batch processing response on the batches submitted. The processing response shows the status code of each report and the error codes if any of them were rejected. The reports contained in the batch are processed separately, so it is possible that some of the reports are rejected while others are approved. Rejected reports must be corrected and sent to the register again. If the lender has been trying to request for processing response for two hours, and the system keeps on returning the batch  status to ‘being processed’, we request that the lender file an error observation to the controller using an observation form.
