Can I ask about my taxes in MyTax or by email?

At the moment, limited liability companies can send messages in MyTax. However, the service will become available to all taxpayers during the spring of 2026.

We do not recommend email for managing tax matters because the regular email service is not sufficiently protected for the processing of personal matters. If you use email, use the secure email service, if necessary. The Tax Administration has email addresses for special circumstances: for example, if a taxpayer cannot use the phone because of a hearing impairment.

You can manage almost all your taxes yourself in My Tax. For support and help, visit the vero.fi website, start chatting with Virtanen the chatbot, or contact the Tax Administration’s telephone service. Virtanen is able to answer many frequently asked questions about taxes and about using MyTax. The chatbot is available in MyTax and vero.fi. In general, you can get an answer to your question quickly using the chatbot or the telephone service.
