New content to the credit register extract, the charge for the extract rises next year

12/17/2025

The lenders requesting credit register extracts from the Positive credit register are charged for the extracts. The charge is determined annually in December by a decree of the Ministry of Finance. Starting in January 2026, the charge is raised by 3 cents and will be €1.05/extract, as the content of the register extract and the coverage of the data have been expanded.

The data content included in the extracts has been growing since the beginning of December 2025 when lenders started reporting loans granted to business name entrepreneurs and agricultural and forestry operators to the register. The data appeared in the credit register extracts and started to be used in consumer lending at the same time. Starting in April, the data can also be used in other than consumer lending.

Credit register extracts are invoiced on a monthly basis

We send lenders a monthly invoice regarding the requests for credit register extracts they made during the previous month.

Lenders can claim adjustment of the charges for credit register extracts from the Incomes Register Unit within 6 months from the date of invoice. Instructions on claiming adjustment are provided in the invoice.
