Updated 30 January at 2.05 pm
Yesterday we announced that some loan data reported to the Positive credit register early in the morning of 29 January 2026 was not saved correctly on account of technical problems. The same happened again early in the morning today. We have pinpointed the problem and started making corrections. No new errors will occur.
However, some data in the register is still incomplete. Our investigation shows that this concerns around 3,400 customers. We have started error correction. We will inform you on our website and in our system information bulletin when the error is fully corrected.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Lenders – you can continue reporting loans, but some extracts contain inaccurate data
Lenders can continue to report loans to the register. Lenders can use the API for checking loan data to see whether the data they have reported has been saved correctly in the register. Because of the technical problem, incorrectly recorded data cannot be corrected at the moment. On account of the error, some credit register extracts contain incomplete or inaccurate data. We are currently making corrections.
Later today (30 January), we will send more detailed information to lenders that have reported data affected by the error. The information will be sent to the lender’s technical contact person and contact person for content.
