An incident affecting the processing of reported data

Update 9 February 2026: Read our news article.

Because of a technical incident in the Positive credit register, some data batches containing lenders’ loan data reports are stuck in the Processing mode. The error was first detected on 28 January 2026 and it continues. Because of this, some private individuals’ loan data in the register may be incomplete. The error concerns all report types used in the register. As far as we know, a few thousand loans are affected.

We are investigating the matter and make every effort to correct the error as soon as possible. We are investigating whether incorrect data has been disclosed on credit register extracts. We will inform any lenders that have received incorrect data of the matter and send a letter to all individuals whose data has been incomplete or inaccurate.

If a lender’s data batch is stuck in the Processing mode, the lender should not submit any new reports on the loans whose data was being reported when the batch got stuck. The register will process the stuck batches manually during office hours. Lenders should check the processing status by requesting a processing response in the API.

The APIs for reporting data and requesting credit register extracts work normally. Lenders can continue to report loans to the register. Lenders can use the API for checking loan data to see whether the reported data has been saved correctly in the register.
