A disruption in the Positive credit register’s API services is over – the APIs are working normally again

A disruption was detected in the Positive credit register’s API services on Wednesday, 25 March 2026. All the APIs were affected. The disruption is now over, and the APIs are working normally. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

A disruption was detected in the internal data communications of the Positive credit register’s API services, and the APIs returned an error code to users. All the APIs were affected. The disruption started at around 9.00 on Wednesday morning. We started troubleshooting immediately as the disruption was detected. The error relating to data communications was corrected before 11.00.  

The APIs are working normally again

The disruption affected the reporting of data, requesting of credit register extracts, disclosure of a voluntary ban on credits to credit information companies and disclosure of data to authorities. The disruption has been dealt with, and all the APIs have been checked to function. The APIs are working normally again.
