How to manage a voluntary ban on credits
You can set a voluntary ban on credits for yourself in the Positive credit register’s e-service. The purpose of the voluntary ban on credits is to protect your data in cases of identity theft and to serve as a tool for controlling your personal finances. When you have a voluntary ban on credits, lenders must consider your loan applications with extra care and caution.
Please note that you cannot print out a separate document stating that you have set a voluntary ban on credits. In our e-service, you can check the validity of your credit ban, the reason for the ban, and whether you have given consent that information can be shared with credit information agencies.
