Disruption in the APIs for reporting new loans and changes to loans – individual reports fail to be recorded in the register
8/17/2026A disruption was discovered in the Positive credit register’s APIs for reporting new loans and changes to loans: individual reports submitted by lenders fail to be recorded in the register. The recording of loan reports fails in situations where data regarding compliance with the Consumer Protection Act has not been submitted. Because of the above, private individuals’ loan data may be incomplete. So far, we have discovered less than 300 of such exceptional cases, and only 1 of them in the New loans API.
The disruption started on 12 August 2026. We have pinpointed the root cause, and will resolve the problem as soon as possible. We will communicate about the correction schedule on a system information bulletin and a website banner.
Affects rare cases
As a rule, the New loans API and the Changes to loans API work normally. The error occurs in situations where the lender has not reported data regarding compliance with the Consumer Protection Act (data group consumerCredit). In other situations, the APIs for reporting data work normally. Lenders can go on reporting loans to the register.
