If you submit your claim with the paper form, you can find the return address on the first page of the form. You must not only complete the claim form but also the Real estate tax return (Form 3743e) in situations where your claim for adjustment concerns the recorded details of a ground and/or building. The guide for filling in the claim form contains detailed instructions for when you need to enclose the completed real estate tax return on paper.

If you submit a free-form claim for adjustment, make sure to state

  • The name and personal identity code of the person claiming adjustment (or the Business ID of a partnership)
  • Property identifier
  • The tax year for which the adjustment is claimed
  • How you want the taxes to be changed, and
  • what the grounds for your claim are.

If you choose to submit the free-form claim, fill in and print Form 3353e and use it as its cover page.

Attach any other supporting documents which you have not previously delivered to the Tax Administration. If you want the decision to be sent to your authorised representative, please say so in the claim and enter the representative’s address as the address for correspondence.
