Apply for a new certificate

The user of the technical interface needs a certificate with which to identify the organisation using the interface. This also ensures the integrity of the data.

Fill in an application when you need a certificate for a new channel in the technical interface or more certificates for existing channels.

Information marked with an asterisk (*) is mandatory.

Application data

Applicant's details

The application is submitted by the organisation that will be using the system from which the technical interface has been established to the Incomes Register. The technical interface user can be the company itself, an accounting firm or some other party that reports data on behalf of the payer. Accounting firms or other parties must sign a contract with the payer.

Certificate type

Select the type of certificate. The type is chosen based on the channel. You can select those channels that you have selected on your application for using the technical interface. If the channel you need is not on the list, please submit a replacement application for using the technical interface and specify on it all the channels you need.

You can only apply for one certificate at a time. If you need several certificates, please fill in separate applications for each one.

Certificate description

Give a description for your certificate to be able to later differentiate between the certificates of different software or customer companies,  for example.

Certificate's technical contact person

Enter the certificate contact person's details: name, telephone number and email address, The certificate's contact person must be a natural person, i.e. the contact person cannot be a company or an organisation. The contact person will receive the information for retrieving the certificate by secure email, and the PIN code for opening the email by text message. Different certificates can have different technical contact persons.

Give the contact person's telephone number in the format that includes the country code, for example +35840 1234 567. The email address may not be for a shared mailbox or a distribution list.

Check the details you have entered and submit the application

Before submitting the application, check the contact person's email address and phone number carefully. This information needs to be correct, as the information needed for retrieving the certificate is sent to the contact person's email. After this, submit the application.

Your application triggers the certificate subscription. The certificate subscription will be valid for 14 days and you must retrieve your certificate within that time.

Retrieve the certificate

Web Service channels:

The certificate's contact person will receive instructions for retrieving the certificate by secure email. A PIN code for opening the secure email will be sent by text message to the technical contact person's mobile phone. The Web Service channel is ready for use immediately after the certificate has been retrieved as instructed.

A new certificate will not be generated if the organisation has previously used either the deferred or real-time Web Service channel and has also submitted a replacement application for using a second Web Service channel. The same certificate can be used in both Web Service channels.

SFTP channel:

The certificate's contact person will receive instructions for retrieving the certificate by secure email. A PIN code for opening the secure email will be sent by text message to the technical contact person's mobile phone. Once the certificate has been retrieved as instructed, the certificate's technical contact person will receive by email the SFTP channel's user ID within 24 hours. After this, the SFTP channel is ready for use.

If an organisation already has a certificate for the SFTP channel and it applies for more certificates for the same channel, a new user ID will not be sent. Instead, the same user ID that was used with the first certificate must still be used. A new certificate will be available within 24 hours of retrieving it.
