Lenders that have a data permission can now use the Positive credit register’s loan data in business lending.

From now on, when a business name entrepreneur or an agricultural or forestry operator applies for a loan for their business activities, the lender can request a credit register extract about their data.

Stakeholder testing: delivery report 1 April 2026

The following change has been released to the Positive credit register’s stakeholder testing environment for functionalities in production (API addresses “api-testi”). The change could previously be tested in the stakeholder testing environment for future functionalities (API addresses “api-testi2”).

New functionalities 

A lender with an appropriate data permission can also request credit register extracts for the following purposes of use:

  • New loan contract for a person other than a consumer (NewLoan)
  • Increase of the loan principal or credit limit of a loan granted to a person other than a consumer (IncreaseOfLoanPrincipalOrCreditLimit)
  • Change to the terms of a loan granted to a person other than a consumer (ChangesToTerms)
  • Guarantee or third-party security for a loan granted to a person other than a consumer (GuaranteeOrThirdPartyPledge).
