Lenders that have a data permission can now use the Positive credit register’s loan data in business lending.

From now on, when a business name entrepreneur or an agricultural or forestry operator applies for a loan for their business activities, the lender can request a credit register extract about their data.

The register is being developed on a continuous basis. On this page, we provide technical documentation regarding upcoming changes.

API descriptions

API descriptions describe the data content to be reported, the structure of the message to be sent to the API, and the response message returned from the API. The changes to be released to the API on 7 October 2026 are described in the description of the API for requesting a credit register extract. The changes relate to the way income data is shown on the credit register extract.

We will also publish changes relating to the denial of the accuracy of income data to the production environment in advance on 7 October 2026. However, the register will not disclose this data through the API for requesting a credit register extract until from 4 January 2027 onwards.

On 7 October 2026, we will also make it possible to report data on the acceleration of a transferred loan and on the date of acceleration in the New loans API (above).

API processing rules and error codes

This version describes how the future changes will affect the processing rules and error codes of the API. After the change, acceleration and the date of acceleration can be reported in the New loans API.

Message examples include examples of how the API changes to be released on 7 October 2026 will affect the response messages of the Request for a credit register extract API. You can find a description of the content of the message examples in a separate document.

Schema descriptions describe the structure and content of different messages and the simplest requiredness rules. The schema description of the Request for a credit register extract API will change on 7 October 2026. You can find a detailed description of the changes in API descriptions.
