Incomes Register extract
The Incomes Register extract is a transcript of the income paid to you and reported by the payers to the Incomes Register. The extract includes the total amounts of all payments for one calendar year.
- You can order an Incomes Register extract in PDF by signing in to the Incomes Register’s e-service.
- Select “Act as a private individual”, and then Incomes Register extract.
- The extract is free of charge and it will take approximately 10 minutes to generate.
- Once the extract is complete, you can download it under Requested Incomes Register extracts.
- If you want a more detailed specification of your income, you can search and view the information on the Personal income data page.
The Incomes Register extract is generated in the language that has been defined as your service language in the Population Information System (Finnish or Swedish). The transcript will remain on the page for three months from the date it was generated.
If you cannot use the e-service, you can request the Incomes Register extract using a paper form. As a result, the extract will be sent to you by post.
Incomes Register extract data
The Incomes Register extract contains the following data submitted on earnings payment reports, grouped by payer and payment date:
- Payments in total
- Income subject to earnings-related pension insurance contributions
- Income subject to accident and occupational disease insurance contributions
- Income subject to unemployment insurance contributions
- Income subject to health insurance contributions
- Employee's earnings-related pension insurance contributions
- Employee's unemployment insurance contributions
- Employee's health insurance contributions
- Tax withholdings
- Tax at source
- Unjust enrichment in total
- Withholdings from the recovered amount
- Tax at source from the recovered amount
- Recovered payments in total.
The Incomes Register extract contains the following data submitted on benefits payment reports, grouped by payer and payment date:
- Benefits payment in total
- Deductions made from gross payments in total
- Deductions made from net payments in total
- Unprompted refunds in total
- Payments reported as reallocations in total
- Recourse payments in total
- Tax withholdings
- Tax at source
- Unjust enrichment in total
- Recovered payments in total.

Earnings payment data have been reported to the Incomes Register since 2019, and benefits and pensions payment data since 2021.
