Request an Incomes Register extract by post

The Incomes Register extract is a transcript of the income paid to you and reported by the payers to the Incomes Register. If you request an Incomes Register extract in the e-service, it will be available to you immediately in PDF format.

If you cannot use the e-service, you can request an Incomes Register extract using a paper form. The free of charge extract will be mailed to the address specified for you in the Incomes Register’s customer information. Usually, this address is obtained from the Population Information System.

The extract includes the total amounts of all payments for one calendar year.  If you request a transcript for the current year, the transcript will contain data from the beginning of the year until the date on which the request was made. The Incomes Register extract can be requested for 2019 at the earliest.

Enter the following information in the income earner’s transcript request

1. Income earner

Enter the income earner’s identifier on row A or B, depending on the type of the identifier. The data is mandatory if the income earner has an identifier.

A) If the income earner has a Finnish personal identity code or business ID, enter the identifier on row A.

Example:Personal identity code 101010-101A, Business ID 0123456-2

B) If the income earner does not have a Finnish identifier, enter a foreign identifier on row B and fill in the identifier country code. If the income earner has no identifier, leave row B empty. Fill in the rest of the income earner details requested.

Select the type of identifier. If the income earner has no identifier, select ‘Income earner has no identifier’ as the type of identifier.

Fill in the income earner’s address details if the income earner has a foreign address or does not have a Finnish identifier. Enter either a street address or a P.O. Box. You must also enter the country code if the income earner has a foreign address.

Examples of country codes: Finland = FI, Sweden = SE, Norway = NO, Estonia = EE, Russia = RU. The most common country codes are listed at the end of these instructions. If the country code is not on the list, enter the name of the country.

2. Request details

Enter the calendar year from which you want the transcript. You can only request the transcript from one calendar year at a time. The earliest possible year is 2019. If you request a transcript for the current year, the transcript will contain data from the beginning of the year until the date on which the request was made.

Also select the transcript language (Finnish, Swedish or English).

3. Contact information of party making request

Fill in this information only if the party making the request is different to the income earner. Fill in the name and Finnish personal identity code or business ID of the party making the request. You can also enter a telephone number and an e-mail address.

4. Date and signature

Sign the form before submitting it. Enter also the date and your telephone number.
