Data security and the processing of data in the Incomes Register

The Incomes Register contains information on the wages, pensions, and benefits paid to you. You can view your own income details in the Incomes Register's e-service.

Data from the Incomes Register is provided only to data users as specified in the Act on the Incomes Information System (available in Finnish and Swedish, link to Finnish: Laki tulotietojärjestelmästä 53/2018).

The Incomes Information System consists of two parts

  • the Incomes Register, which contains information submitted to meet the statutory reporting and disclosure obligation and information disclosed in compliance with the data access right, as well as
  • a register containing identifying and contact information used for data verification and validation purposes.

In everyday language, the term "Incomes Register" is often used instead of "Incomes Information System." On these pages, you can find information about the processing of personal data in the Incomes Register.
