Make sure that employer benefits get processed – eSARA files to be deprecated on 30 September

From October onwards, employee-related benefits, such as sickness and parental allowances, can only be applied for in the Incomes Register or Kela’s daily allowance and compensation service for employers. 

Information on absences and applications directly to Kela from the Incomes Register 

Reporting absence data and submitting applications through payroll software that uses the Incomes Register API is particularly suitable for large employers who apply for benefits regularly and for several employees at a time. However, check with your payroll software provider that it is possible to send absence data from the software to the Incomes Register! 

You can also report absence data and submit an application in the e-service of the Incomes Register. In this case, use the Suomi.fi e-Authorizations granted by your organisation to use the service.
