Accessibility of the Enter portal
This accessibility statement describes how the Enter portal comply with the act on the provision of digital services, what shortcomings there are in the site’s accessibility, and how you can give us feedback about accessibility issues.
The Finnish Tax Administration's Incomes Register Unit answers for this online service. We want as many users as possible to be able to access our digital services. We pay attention to accessibility when we develop our digital services.
How accessible is the website?
The online service largely meets the A and AA level accessibility criteria required by law (WCAG criteria 2.1). The online service has some shortcomings in accessibility, and they are described in more detail below.

Monitoring of accessibility
The Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland monitors the implementation of accessibility requirements. Content and features of the Enter portal that are not yet accessible:
- The website is not fully structured with descriptive headings or a logical heading hierarchy (WCAG 2.4.6)
- Some labels contain so much extra information that it is difficult for assistive devices to identify the component (WCAG 2.5.3)
- The site contains links which have a name that does not correspond to the purpose or which are not connected to a programmatically determined context (WCAG 2.4.4, WCAG 1.3.1)
- Not all components on the site have a role, value or descriptive name that could be detected by a screen reader (WCAG 4.1.2)
- There are shortcomings in the marking of languages (WCAG 3.1.1)
- The site has text whose contrast ratio to the adjacent background is too low (WCAG 1.4.3)
- The site has components where colour is used as the only means of indicating an error (WCAG 1.4.1)
- The site has interactive components that do not receive visible focus (WCAG 2.4.7)
- The site has sections where the focus order is not completely logical and can cause confusion especially for screen reader users (WCAG 2.4.3)
- The forms have some functionalities that are not operable with a keyboard only (WCAG 2.1.1)
- Some incorrectly filled fields do not provide sufficient information on the error occurred or suggestions how to correct it (WCAG 3.3.1, WCAG 3.3.3)
Accessibility defects of the Enter portal will be remedied in 2023.
