Delivery report on stakeholder testing 22 April 2025

A new version has been released to the Positive credit register’s stakeholder testing environments.

New features

Lenders – New loans and Changes to loans

A new validation has been added to the New loans and Changes to loans APIs. The validation compares the purpose of use of a lump sum loan with the value given in the Loan as referred to in Consumer Protection Act field.

Stage 1 and stage 2 stakeholder testing environments: If the value at Loan as referred to in Consumer Protection Act is Consumer credit (chapter 7) or Consumer credit linked to residential property (chapter 7 a), then the only allowed purposes of use are those related to consumer credits.

Stage 2 stakeholder testing environment: If the value at Loan as referred to in Consumer Protection Act is Other than consumer credit, then the loan’s allowed purposes of use include:
- Other loan
- Loan for operation of business
- Guarantee receivable for a student loan

Lenders – all APIs

Stage 1 and stage 2 stakeholder testing environments: A validation correction implemented in all test APIs for reporting data and for requesting credit register extracts, so that reports that do not conform to the schema would not be saved incomplete in the register. Messages containing duplicate keys contrary to the schema are now rejected and the notifier receives error message A10: ‘The JSON file is incorrectly formed. The file must conform to the API schema.’
