Implementation of the Incomes Register is on track

The implementation of the Incomes Register Project is on schedule and the register can therefore be introduced on 1 January 2019. Financial system vendors have begun to prepare their own software for the introduction of the Incomes Register. System vendors will be able to test the interfaces from 1 March 2018 onwards, in cooperation with the project. During the first phase, Incomes Register information will be used by the Finnish Tax Administration, Kela (the Social Insurance Institution of Finland), the Unemployment Insurance Fund, occupational pension providers and the Finnish Centre for Pensions, which will begin testing the technical interfaces on the same schedule, in early March.
