Reporting to the Incomes Register made easier for associations3/2/2020
The responsible persons of associations can now report the wages and fees paid by their associations to the Incomes Register more easily. The association's chairman of the board entered into the Register of Associations or a person authorised to sign for the association on their own can act on behalf of the association in the Incomes Register's e-service without a separate authorisation. These official roles are sufficient authorisations for acting in the Incomes Register. The official role must be entered into the Register of Associations.
The association's chairman of the board or a person authorised to sign for the association on their own can sign in to the Incomes Register using their personal online banking codes, a mobile certificate or a certificate card. The association no longer needs to apply for or use a Katso ID for this purpose.
The person authorised to sign for the association on their own can authorise other individuals or organisations in the Suomi.fi e-Authorisations service to act on behalf of the association in the Incomes Register.
You can grant authorisations on behalf of an association when you select acting on behalf of a company after signing in to the Suomi.fi e-Authorisations service.
For now, associations can still grant authorisations in the Katso service as well.
If the responsible person has the right to sign 'two together', acting in the Incomes Register's e-service with an official role is not possible for the time being. In these cases, the Katso master user of the association can authorise others to act in the Incomes Register's e-service.
Make sure your association's official roles are up to date
Associations should check that their official roles are up to date in the Register of Associations. This ensures that the right individuals can submit reports and browse the reports submitted on behalf of the association in the Incomes Register.
Suomi.fi authorisations will gradually replace Katso authorisations
The Katso authorisations will be used in the Incomes Register until the second half of 2020. You can start using the Suomi.fi authorisations as their new features will be introduced. You can read more about the upcoming features in the news article from December: Katso IDs and authorisations will remain in use until the end of 2020.
