New authorisation code available in Suomi.fi e-Authorisations

9/15/2020

A new authorisation code was introduced in the Suomi.fi e-Authorisations service on 15 September. This new authorisation code allows the authorised person to view Incomes Register log data and to take care of matters related to the Incomes Register's interfaces and certificates. The name of the new authorisation code is Processing of log, interface and report data related to income data.

A person who has been granted the new authorisation can act in the Incomes Register's e-service starting from 22 October 2020.

Who can use the new authorisation code?

  • Organisations with no official roles or authorised signatories registered in the Trade Register or the Business Information System (BIS). The authorisation is granted by filling in an authorisation application with the help of an official.
  • Organisations in which two or more together have the right to sign for the organisation. The authorisation is granted independently in the Suomi.fi e-Authorisations service.

An organisation can take care of matters related to the new authorisation code without the authorisation if one of the following has been entered in the Trade Register or the Business Information System: the organisation's Managing Director, Substitute for the Managing Director or an official who is authorised to sign for the organisation alone. The same applies to entrepreneurs.

What can the new authorisation code be used for?

The 'Processing of log, interface and report data related to income data' authorisation code covers many functions. Organisations should study the content of the authorisation closely before they grant it.

Processing of log, interface and report data related to income data:

  • This authorisation allows the assignee to process the following log, interface and report data related to earnings, pensions and benefits on behalf of the assignor:
    • order and view log data
    • make and maintain an interface application and order certificates
    • view information on paid income
    • view messages
    • view archived documents
    • maintain and view basic data
    • submit and browse reports
    • request and view transcripts.

Some functions, such as messages and viewing archived documents, will be deployed in the Incomes Register at a later stage. These will be separately announced in the delivery report concerning the system.

When can the new authorisation code be used?

A representative of an organisation can already grant the authorisation in the Suomi.fi e-Authorisations service on their own or by using an authorisation application.

A person who has been granted the new authorisation can act in the Incomes Register's e-service starting from 22 October 2020.
