Setting up a Katso ID when you don’t have a Finnish personal identity code

Set up a Katso ID using your passport number. To activate the identifiers you must prove your identity. Post a copy of your passport (a copy of the identity card is not valid), notarised by the notary public or certified by a police department, court of law, or embassy, within three weeks from the day on which you set up the identifiers to Katso support. The copy must include the original stamp and signature of the official.

Setting up a Katso ID when you have a Finnish personal identity code

Set up a Katso ID using your Finnish personal identity code. To activate the ID you must prove your identity by using Finnish web banking identifiers or a Finnish microchip identity card. If you do not have either, you must prove your identity within three weeks from the day when you set up the identifiers. Visit a tax office handling Katso client registration or post a copy of your passport (a copy of your identity card is not valid), notarised by the notary public or certified by a police department, court of law, or embassy, within three weeks from the day on which you set up the identifiers. Using Katso ID

Once your Katso ID is active you can visit the service as soon as the Master User of your company has authorised you to do so.

At the Katso service (https://yritys.tunnistus.fi) you can change your password, print out one-time passwords and receive authorisations. You will find detailed instructions for users on the main page of the service.
