How to file a tax return for a business partnership in MyTax

  1. Log in to MyTax.

  2. You can report details for the tax return by clicking on “Filing returns” under Activities.

  3. By clicking “Income tax for partnerships” under “Your tax types” you can select the period for which you want to file a tax return. Select the previous year.

  4. In the first stage, you will see your background information. Remember to fill in the specification of the profit to be distributed between the partners. You can edit the details by clicking on the shareholder’s name. 

  5. Once everything is correct, proceed to stage 2. Go to “Calculation of taxable income” by clicking “Next” at the bottom of the page.

  6. If you do not have income or expenses to report for the business partnership, you can state so in this section.

  7. You can report the income for the business source by clicking on the “Business income“ field. Close the field by clicking on the green arrow at the bottom of the box.

  8. You can report the expenses for the business source by clicking on the “Business expenses“ field. Close the field by clicking on the green arrow at the bottom of the box.

  9. Once everything is correct, proceed to stage 3. Go to “Calculation of net worth” by clicking on “Next”.

  10. Once everything is correct, proceed to stage 4. Go to “Other clarifications and financial statements” by clicking on “Next”.

  11. At the bottom of the page, state whether there has been an audit.

    Go to step 5 “Preview and send” by clicking on “Next”.

  12. Check the details before submitting them.

    If needed, you can still make corrections. You can return to earlier stages by clicking Previous.

    If you wish to continue filling in the details later, select “Save as unfinished”. The Tax Administration will not process the tax return before you have submitted it.

  13. If the details are correct, click “Submit”.

    Returns you submit are also saved in MyTax.
