How to file a contractor report in MyTax

  1. Find Activities and select All activities.

  2. Scroll down to Other returns and select Reports on construction work.

  3. Click Select return for the period for which you wish to report information.

  4. Go to Contractor report and click on the link File return.

  5. The first stage is Filer details. If necessary, change the contact information of the person who can provide further information.

    Then, move on to the stage Contract details. Click Next to proceed.

  6. Enter the details for one construction site or agreement at a time. Click Add construction site or agreement to enter details for a single construction site or agreement.

  7. Select whether you are filing details per construction site or per contract.

    Fill in the other details and scroll down.

  8. Click Add contractor at the bottom of the page to enter contractor details.

    If you are filing details per construction site, add details on all the contractors who have worked at the construction site during the reported period. Add new contractors by clicking Add new contractor.

    If you are filing details per agreement, you can only enter one contractor per agreement.

  9. Enter the contractor’s Business ID or other identifier. Also enter the contact person, the type of assignment and the length of the contract. Then scroll down.

  10. Fill in the sections concerning the invoicing of the contract and the VAT reverse charge. Click OK.

  11. Once all the details on the contractor are correct, click OK again. This takes you to the main view for the contractor report. If necessary, add more construction sites or agreements. After you have entered all the required details, you can move on to the next stage, Preview and send. Click Next to proceed.

  12. Check the details before submitting them. If needed, you can still make corrections. You can return to earlier stages by clicking Previous.

    If you wish to continue filling in the details later, select Save as unfinished. The Tax Administration will not process the report before you have submitted it.

  13. If the details are correct, click Submit. Reports you submit are also saved in MyTax.
