Service break in MyTax during the weekend − take care of tax matters before the break

Tax Administration Bulletin, 2/7/2023

The service break will start in MyTax on Friday 10 February at 3.30 pm and end on Sunday 12 February at 6 pm. During the service break, you cannot log in to MyTax or manage your taxes there. The Tax Administration advises taxpayers to take care of their tax matters before the break during the first days of the week.

For example, you cannot request a tax card in MyTax during the weekend. In addition, you cannot pay taxes or check payment details in the service during the break. The Tax Administration reminds taxpayers that if they have taxes falling due, they should log in to MyTax to check the payment details before the service break, and then pay the taxes in an online bank.

EMCS will be transferred to MyTax – the change concerns corporate taxpayers who move excise products within the EU

The reason for the service break is that the EMCS service transfers from Customs to the Tax Administration, and the information and functionalities required will be implemented in MyTax during the break. In future, companies will report the movements of products subject to excise duty within the EU in MyTax.

EMCS is used by importers of alcohol and tobacco, keepers of tax warehouses, as well as manufacturers, processors and importers of liquid fuels.
