Create a Power of Attorney for a company or organisation

The job of the Agent is to:

  • Fill out the POA form with Principal and Representative data including Agent's contact information;
  • Select the roles to be included;
  • Define the period of validity.

If several physical persons share the right to sign the Principal's business name, it is the Agent's obligation to assess whether all of these physical persons should be entered as people authorized to approve the Power of Attorney.  If necessary, the Agent should contact Principal to agree on the matter.

The roles listed in the Power of Attorney text will be ready for use as soon as the Principal has given approval to the Power of Attorney. To give approval, Principal can use the online interface or visit a tax office dealing with Katso registration in person. Press Points of service dealing with client registration for the Katso system to find a list of these offices.

If Principal's representative has been specified as the person giving approval, the only option will be to visit a tax office dealing with Katso registration.

The approved roles should yet be delegated (and receipt acknowledged) to specific Katso IDs and Sub-IDs.
