    If you represent a business or a corporation you must have a Katso ID and password to sign in. Individuals including household employers, primary producers and self-employed professionals must sign in with their personal web banking codes (or HST microchip identity cards).

What does Tax Account Online do?

You can file Periodic tax returns and Recapitulative Statements for VAT. You can also check your balance, look up your Tax Account reference numbers, or browse and print out Account Statements.

Other uses: Calculate amounts of tax on selected future dates including interest, make a refund request of mistaken payments, change the settings of refund time and refund limits.

Tax Account target groups

Tax Account is for taxpayers who are liable to pay any of the taxes within the Tax Account system. Examples of Tax Account taxes are VAT and employer's contributions.

In addition, individual taxpayers (such as households) must pay their taxes through the Tax Account if they act as employers.
