Tax Calendar: Important Dates and Deadlines for Corporate Taxpayers 2017

Corporate taxpayers must complete their tax returns within 4 months after the closing date of their accounting period and their tax assessment process will continue up to the date when 10 months have passed after the end of the month when the accounting period has closed.

The due date for paying any outstanding taxes is the 25th day of the calendar month after the close of tax assessment. The date when the Tax Administration pays refunds to corporate taxpayers is the 7th day of the second month after the close of tax assessment.

Corporate taxpayers can avoid paying late-payment charges by making a supplemental prepayment of income tax by the last date of completing the tax return. As another alternative, corporate taxpayers can reduce the amount of the late-payment charges that will fall due by making a supplemental prepayment of income tax before the date when one month remains until the close of tax assessment.

The closing date of the accounting period determines corporate taxpayers' deadline dates for filing their income tax return.  We no longer send corporate taxpayers a pre-filled form in 2017 for completing. Instead of the tax return form with instructions, we send out an informative letter.

For self-assessed taxes such as VAT and employer’s contributions, the calendar has been marked with the days on which

  • the tax return must arrive at the Tax Administration
  • the payment must be completed
  • the summary will appear in MyTax.
